Number One – Cumin and Coriander – Indian Cuisine
Located on St Leonards Road on the outskirts of the main town centre, Cumin and Coriander has been rated the number one restaurant in the whole of Windsor. Although small in size, this Indian restaurant is big in taste and there certainly is enough to choose from on the menu. As well as the usual selection that you would expect, there are some unusual extras and a superb vegetarian selection. Cumin and Coriander is well known for luring in passersby with mouth watering smells that are noticed well before you can even see the restaurant. With customers commenting on the quality, value and flavoursome dishes, this is definitely one to try.
Number Two – Hungry Eye – Nepalese Cuisine
With frequent comments about the fantastic service received at this restaurant, it's not hard to see why it has been rated the second best in Windsor. There is always a friendly waiter on hand who is happy to assist with any questions about the menu or to make personal recommendations on particularly tasty dishes. With an authentic, diverse and sophisticated menu, fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared meals, Hungry Eye is a real treat for the taste buds.
Number Three – Viceroy of Windsor – Indian Cuisine
Another Indian restaurant located on St Leonards Road, The Viceroy of Windsor is large in size which is hardly surprising because it is always busy. This is a true reflection on the quality and taste of their dishes which manage to perfect all the real tastes of India. There is a superb selection on the menu and everything is reasonably priced which makes it popular with locals, tourists and business travellers. Considering that the Viceroy is frequently full is impressive in itself but the fact that the staff still manage to deliver a first class service is what keeps diners coming back for more and more.
Don't be discouraged from trying any of the other restaurants in Windsor because when you look on TripAdvisor you will see that all the ratings are very close and it's simply a case of there being too many good places to choose from. Whether you are looking for Italian, Greek, French, Chinese, Mexican, Tapas or traditional English food, there really is something to suit all taste buds.
